Neoprene Vibration Pads are recommended for vibration isolation on equipment that produces high frequency vibration and for impact machines. Neoprene pads are a low cost option for minor vibration problems. In most cases they eliminate the need for bolting equipment down to the ground.
In general, neoprene rubber pads are used to eliminate minor vibration issues and high frequency noise problems. They also allow, in most cases, for bolting to not be required. The flat configuration of these neoprene rubber sheets minimizes machine elevation.
When bolting is required, particularly in seismic applications, neoprene pads are used in conjunction with hemi-grommets to isolate industrial machinery vibration. When increased deflection is required, neoprene mounts are introduced.
We are proud to carry Mason Industries pads and mounts. Mason started in 1958 and have been frontrunners in the design and manufacturing of neoprene pads and mounts.
Mason is the #1 manufacturer of neoprene pads and mounts. We are proud to be their partner in Western Canada.
Neoprene pads can be used to reduce noise, high frequency vibration and impact from typical machines such as the following:
We offer a full range of Mason neoprene pad vibration dampers. Depending on the machine type, size and vibration, there is sure to be a Neoprene Pad that meets your requirements.

The term “Bridge Bearing” is used to describe these pads to reflect their high quality. All bearings that support bridges are made of Neoprene and must pass rigid tests in ozone and oxygen resistance along with high strength. A key characteristic of these pads is their longevity. This is a real benefit when they are used for vibration isolation in floating floors and structural floors.
This PDF includes not only information on Bridge Bearing Pads but also Neoprene & Cork Pads, Neoprene Impregnated Duck Pads and Neoprene Waffle Pads.
The Type “W” Neoprene Waffle Pad has a higher carrying capacity per square inch, increased holding power, and a built-in contamination seal, as well as rough surfaces and acting as dirt and oil dams at the perimeter, regardless of how the pad is cut.
This waffle pad is made of a different material – Nitrile. It is selected when there is intermittent or constant exposure to gasoline, grease or oil. Out of all rubber materials, it has the best oil resistance. These Nitrile Waffle pads allow vibration isolation without bolting.

May be used in multi layers separated by 16 gauge steel plates for greater efficiency.
Mason Super Waffle Pads are moulded for maximum resilience and vibration isolation. Made of both standard neoprene and bridge bearing neoprene these pads have maximum life expectancy, excellent oil resistance and resiliency.
Neoprene mounts are used when additional deflection is required. These mounts are the ideal solution to isolate high frequency vibrations from mechanical equipment. Mason Industries manufacturers a number of neoprene mounts for high vibration equipment along with two options for seismic applications.
Mason offers two Neoprene Mounts for seismic applications.
