Junior Technical Sales - Noise & Vibration Isolation

The Vibra-Sonic team is small but mighty! We are a small business where the contributions from each team member have a big impact. We currently have an opening for a Junior Technical Sales Representative to work with our Noise & Vibration Isolation team.

What you would do:

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers by phone, email, and in-person/virtual meetings with the intention of cultivating strong customer relationships.
  • Develop new customer potential by examining market opportunities and contacting potential customers.
  • Offer professional, prompt, effective and efficient solutions to customer inquiries.
  • Provide quotations, technical support, literature, and other support/materials for customers, including submittals and coordination for projects.
  • Responsible for completing the order process which includes offering pricing terms according to established margins and generating sales orders.
  • Enter quotations and orders into the system with accuracy in a timely manner.
  • Provide customers with accurate pricing, inventory, and specific delivery information.
  • Respond to customers’ requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, training and associated product meetings where appropriate.
  • Deliver presentations to architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Conduct site reviews and attend project meetings, when needed.

What you bring:

  • Previous sales related experience is preferred, ideally in the plumbing and/or HVAC industry.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft office is required. CAD experience would be an asset.
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate with team members.
  • Highly reliable with excellent problem solving skills.
  • Desire to learn and develop expertise in our unique field of work.

This is a 100% in-office position. Our office is located in Burnaby, within walking distance to the Gilmore Skytrain Station.
