Regupol Sonus and SonusWave product lines bring lab, field-tested and proven sound-dampening results together with long-term performance and quality. Made from recycled rubber, they are GreenCircle certified and can qualify for up to 8 LEED points. The preferred choice for impact sound control among acoustic consultants, project engineers, multi-family residential developers, architects, and property management corporations worldwide.

Impact Noise Reduction Results with Confidence

With all underlayments, the Impact Isolation Class (IIC) and the Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings are based on the complete floor-ceiling assembly. These ratings will fluctuate depending on the other components of your assembly. The best rating to reference for determining how much improvement the underlayment alone contributes to the impact noise reduction is the Delta Impact Isolation Class (ΔIIC).

Regupol has made it easy to anticipate acoustic results with their extensive library of acoustical test reports, available through their easy-to-use drop-down menu on their assembly specifier: https://www.regupol.us/acoustics/acoustical-test-reports/.
